As of this writing, guest facing only supports gift card payment through the Magtek swipe reader. Gift card payment cannot be made through the Paytronix device by the guest.
Note that when a gift card is sold, it is captured as non-revenue because no Note: Gift card sales are captured as a non-revenue sale. No menu items were purchased. When a menu item is purchased with a gift card, that purchase is captured as revenue.
In guest-facing payment mode, gift card payment is supported only through the Magtek swipe reader. Gift card payment cannot be made through any other payment device by the guest as of this writing.
