Summary
Menu Item Pricing is a function that provides an easier way to manage pricing overrides on items through a broader perspective.Pricing overrides are applied depending on which menu the ability to set a fixed price for an item for each menu from a single view in ECM.
Menu item prices are applied based on the menu from which the item is ordered from. For example, an item may cost $5.00 in on the breakfast menu, but only $4.00 in on the afternoon menu.
Menu item pricing vs. pricing override:
- Menu item pricing applies to fixed prices only
- Pricing overrides that use a percentage or dollar adjustment must be configured on the Edit Menu Item > Pricing Overrides tab.

To configure the menu item prices, navigate to the ":

After configuring the prices, ensure the menu item pricing, go to Menus and verify the selected item category is active in the menus. This window can be found in the menus page.

Operation
Notice how these are all the same items. The prices change depending on the menu it was ordered fromIn this example, the same item was ordered three times. Each item was ordered from a different menu and priced according to the menu item pricing for the selected menu. Tap Menus to select a menu.
