Example: If a Customer Display Unit is attached to physical port 1 of the Lantronix box and Com 7 is associated with physical port 1, enter Com 7 in the Customer Display Unit's settings under Peripherals. - Linked devices can now communicate with the server.

- When setting up a Lantronix and CPR for use with a VX805 credit card terminal there are two additional drivers that need to be installed on the Order Entry server in order for the VX805 to be able to communicate with the server and CPR manager.
- These drivers are normally associated with NetEPay but they MUST be installed even if the site is not using EMV (NetEPay is only needed when site is using EMV)
- The drivers can be downloaded from the Datacap Systems page: http://www.datacapepay.com/epay50/2946/
- Make sure you are getting the correct drivers and that they are the most recent version
- Once the drivers have been installed the Order Entry server will need to be rebooted and the payment device reinitialized from the iPad once everything is back up.
