Data Collector 2.1.2.7 - 22-Nov-2010
- Large number of log files are generated by Data Collector.
Fix: Turn off the logging in the DataCollectorService because the same information is already in the system event logs - Check purge not completing successfully due to time outs for Data Collectors installed over 1 year
Fix: Change purge methodology to loop through smaller time spans - Rejected punches mismarked as failed.
Fix: Changed naming convention (*.noproc.xml) and moved archive folder to remove confusion and reduce file clutter for performance. - File contention between time clock thread and check thread potentially causing delayed MPA/OT reporting
Fix: Updated code to remove file contention issue. - Some check files fail for unknown reasons.
Fix: Caused by database connectivity issues. Updated code to not fail check file on intermittent database failure. - Unclear which XML fails in event log
Enhancement: Log the name of the xml that the Data Collector fails to process into the system event log to assist troubleshooting efforts

- Modification to the Log4Net configuration. Edit the Log4Net.config.xml in web root to enable logging.
