Guest-facing is the mode that is presented to the customers at the actual restaurant.
This function allows the staff to change whether Guest-facing is available for the current iPad.
It can be found in the Cashier Menu.

Summary
Order Entry can be set to guest-facing state to allow customers to place their own orders at the restaurant on the device. This could be at a kiosk or at the table where guests are seated. Guest-facing functions are more limited than staff-facing, particularly around payment functions such as editing and reopening checks.
Configuration
The device is easily switched from staff-facing UI to guest-facing UI via the Guest-Facing State: Open/Closed button on the Cashier menu.
In ECM, the location has to also be set for the guest-facing operation mode.
Set Guest-facing mode on iPad
The Guest-facing interface has a different appearance than the staff-facing UI. The guest-facing UI is similar to below. (An actual guest-facing UI will have actual menu item names and images displayed.)
Guest-Facing State: Open/Close can be found on the Cashier Menu.
Guest-facing ordering can be toggled from open to closeclosed. It can also be set to reset at the end of the day and allow or disable ordering.
Tap the toggle to either Open or Closed and tap Confirm to set state.
