- The payment terminals function as external credit card/gift card processing devices.
- Each PAX terminal holds encrypted credit card/gift card transaction data exclusively
- Credit card/gift card transactions run on a PAX terminal are held in that specific PAX terminal
- The PAX terminals batch out these stored CC/GC transactions at a specified time
- This is set up in terminal's physical setting options.
- Note: These are not the same as the Verifone VX805s
- Processors: Currently we have three main processors that are live with PAX terminals:
- FMDSFDMS - MacGrill
- TSYS - Kona Grill
- Heartland - Melting Pot (Check ECM > Site > Payment tabs to verify processors for a specific site)

After a remote download of parameters from the following processors, the PAX device password will change to the following:
