Printing: Group by seat number

Summary

The kitchen chit printer can be configured in ECM to print items grouped by seat number. 

Configuration

In ECM, go to: Sites > Printers > select printer

Flag Group by Seat Number to print items on kitchen chit grouped by seat number.

Operation 

Pre-conditions:

• Site and area are flagged to enable seat number

• Printer is flagged to group by seat number

Order items on iPad, assigning seat numbers to each item. 

Tap Send Now or Submit Order to send items to kitchen. 

The kitchen chit will print the items grouped by seat number:

When flagged to not group by seat number, the kitchen chit displays the seat number on the right:
